Mangaluru, Feb 04, 2015: The Vishwa Hindu Parishad and the Bhajrangdal have staged a protest in front of the BJP Office near PVS Circle in the city on February 4, Wednesday to condemn the state government action of banning the entry of VHP leader Praveen Togadia to Bengaluru in the wake of the upcoming Hindu Samajotsava in the state capital on February 8.
The protestors also warned of intensifying their agitation if the state government did not revoke the order immediately.
They said thousands of activists from the district will travel to Bengaluru and warned that the government would be held responsible in case of any untoward incident.
VHP leaders Jagadish Shenava, Jithendra Kottari, Bhajrangdal leaders Puneeth Kottari, Sharan Pumpwell and several other activists took part in the protest.
