Mangaluru, Oct 30, 2017: After the much publicised visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Dharmasthala, another big news has hit the social media.
The District Police have literally drawn flak for issuing a VIP pass to Naresh Shenoy, the founder of NaMo Brigade and the prime accused in the RTI activist Vinayak Baliga murder case, to attend the PM’s function.
Interestingly, the pass number 1843 duly signed by none other than the Dakshina Kannada SP was highlighted by Shenoy himself in his Facebook page, drawing the ire of many.
There has also arisen the question as to how a murder accused was issued a VIP pass to a high security function attended by the prime minister.
If the RTI activist Vinayak Baliga was brutally murdered right near his house on the morning of March 21 last year, Naresh Shenoy had gone missing for almost over two months before he was arrested.
He was later released on bail from the High Court.
