Desha Premi Sanghatanegala Okkuta raised slogans against the Police and the politicians for failing to apprehend the main culprit.

It has been two and half month ever since Vinayak Baliga was brutally murdered near Kodailbail on March 21st, and the culprit Naresh Shenoy is still absconding. Politicians and Mangaluru Police have disillusioned people by slowing down the investigation have led to speculation of defending Naresh Shenoy. Baliga had questioned several Education Mafia, Builder lobby for their violation but none of the politicians including MLA JR Lobo raised voice against the Baliga’s brutal murder.

When the protestors reached close to MLA JR Lobo’s residence near Shivbagh, situation turned violent and there was heating word exchange between Police and the protestors.  Protestors including Baliga’s two sisters, niece, Narendra Nayak, Muneer Katipalla, and others were taken to custody

Speaking to the reporters later, Rationalist Prof Narendra Nayak said that, the prime accused Naresh Shenoy is been defended by several people. There are big fish operating from Kerala who are behind many murders in this country. We will continue to raise our voice until the justice is rendered to Baliga and his family, said Prof Narendra Nayak.

Vinayak Baliga’s Sister Usha, DYFI District President Premananda Shetty and others were present

Why have the police arrested the protesters ? It is wrong to go on protest for justice ? what are the police doing in this case ? because of their this attitude public is losing hope on them.

Of course this clearly shows the support of the police to towards the main accused. That is why some take law in their hands. Because to get justice one have to strive hard .
