Bakery owner dies in road mishap at Talapady

Mangaluru, Mar 18, 2024: A pedestrian who was seriously injured after he was knocked down by a bike at Talapady, has died in the hospital.
The deceased is Rajesh Shetty (49), a local resident and the owner of a bakery near the Talapady old bus stand.
On Sunday, as it was the car festival of the local temple, Rajesh had attended to guests at home and was returning to the bakery in the evening when tragedy struck just as he was waiting to cross the road.
He had sustained serious injuries in his head and died at a private hospital in Mangaluru. Rajesh is survived by his wife and two daughters.
