Bajrangdal gang accused of robbing, assaulting youth at Dharmasthala

Belthangady, Aug 03, 2016: A man identified as Chandrakanth (31) of Dharmasthala was allegedly assaulted by a Bajrangdal leader and a few of his accomplices at Dharmasthala on August 2, Tuesday evening. The assailants have also been accused of robbing the gold chain and ring of Chandrakanth.

gang fight The injured person has been hospitalised. The incident occurred when Chandrakanth was playing volleyball with his friends.

The assailants around 10 in number and armed with lethal weapons attacked and robbed him, as per the complaint lodged with the police.

A previous enmity is said to be the reason behind the attack.

Dharmasthala Police are investigating the case.
