BJP Govt’s labour reforms will give red carpet welcome to MNCs:Srirama Reddy

Mangaluru, Dec 29, 2014:  The BJP Government at the Centre has extended a red carpet welcome to  multi-national companies by  introducing labour reforms, alleged GV Sirrama Reddy, Central Committee Member of Communist Party of India (Marxist).

 

Speaking after inaugurating a district level conference of the CPI(M) here on December 28, Sunday, Reddy said  the government by  taking the ordinance route to  implement the legislation,  has proved that it has little respect for democratic values.

Continuing, Reddy said the ‘Fascist’ policies of the BJP were a major challenge to the nation. On the moves to set up a Janata Parivar, he said  it would be of little help and claimed that only the CPI(M) would be able to fight the unwelcome policies of the Government.

He stated that the Congress Party which has suffered major setback in the recent elections had no determination to uphold secular principles.

Referring to the Congress government in the state, Reddy alleged that the government has failed in putting a break to communal forces in the district.

KR Sriyan, VJK Nair and other CPI(M) leaders participated in the conference.
