Attempt to smuggle cattle thwarted; 3 arrested

Kundapur, Sep 22,2016 : Three persons who were reportedy transporting cattle illegally in a vehicle at Koteshwara were trapped and handed over to the police by members of a Hindu organisation on September 21, Wednesday. A cow which was in the vehicle has also been seized.

Those arrested are : Laxmana Mogaveera (55), K Hameed (56) of Kalavara and Mohammed Rafik(54) of Kodi.

It is suspected that the cow was being transported to a slaughter house in Kodi.

Kundapur Police have registered a case.

We can not only blame the people of other community engaged in this trade . Many time the old and aged cattle’s are sold to them as it is no more of use . Here both have joined hands in this trade.
