Mangaluru, Sep 21, 2018: Renowned artist and environmental crusader Dinesh Holla has won hearts through his kind gesture. He has donated a part of his earnings through the sale of his art works during the Dieppe International Kite Festival at France, towards the education of tribal children.
Holla had displayed several sketches and art works depicting the culture and lifestyle of tribals during the Kite Festival held at France recently. The exhibition evoked a great response and nearly 30 of Holla’s art works have been purchased and are adorning the walls of the people of France. Holla has utilised 35% of his earnings through his sale of art works for the education of tribal children.
Holla says he has been assisting in the education of tribal children in Yellapur, Dandeli, Haliyala, Kudremukh and Western Ghat areas and points out that he wants to make them as forest officials.
The ’Korida Katta’ kite designed by Holla has soared high in French skies during the festival.
