Mangaluru, Jun 09, 2018 : Departure and arrival schedule of several trains at Mangaluru Central and Mangaluru Junction will change on Saturday, with Konkan Railway Corporation Ltd. (KRCL) enforcing the Monsoon Timetable till October 31.
A release from Southern Railway here said that major changes in schedule include departure time of Train No 12602 Mangaluru Central-Mumbai LTT Matsyagandha Express, which will now leave at 12.50 p.m. instead of the scheduled 2.35 p.m.
The departure time of Train No 12617 Ernakulam-Nizamuddin Mangala Lakshadweep Express too will be advanced to 7.30 p.m. at Mangaluru Junction instead of the scheduled 9.35 p.m.
Train No 56640 Mangaluru Central-Madgaon Passenger would depart at 6.05 a.m. instead of the 5.50 a.m. from Mangaluru Central while Train No 12134 Mangaluru Junction-Mumbai CSMT Express would leave Mangaluru Junction at 4.45 p.m. instead of the scheduled 1.55 p.m. Train No 12224 Ernakulam Junction-Mumbai LTT AC Duranto bi-weekly Express too would have a delayed departure from Mangaluru Junction, at 6.50 a.m. instead of 4.10 a.m.
The release said that regular and monsoon schedules are the same for other trains leaving Mangaluru Central and Mangaluru Junction on the Konkan rail line.
It further said that there would be a delay of one to two-and-a-half hours delay in the arrival time of all trains running on the Konkan line, at Mangaluru Central and Mangaluru Junction.
However, there would be no delay in the schedule of the following trains: Train No. 10215 Madgoan- Ernakulam Junction Weekly Superfast Express on Mondays; Train No 11097 Pune- Ernakulam Junction Weekly Express (via Londa, Miraj and Madgaon) on Sundays; Train No. 22149 Pune-Ernakulam Junction Bi-Weekly (via Roha and Panvel) on Fridays and Tuesdays; Train No 22656 Hazart Nizamuddin-Thiruvananthapuram Weekly Express on Sundays; Train No 70105 Madgaon-Mangaluru Central DEMU Passenger (except Sundays) and Karwar-Mangaluru-KSR Bengaluru Express.
