Another unidentified body found in Dharmasthala; cops begin probe

Belthangady, Feb 22, 2015 :  In a shocking case, police have found yet another  unidentified body in an isolated area near the Netravathi bridge at Dharmasthala on February 21, Saturday, just a day after an unidentified person was found reportedly murdered in the same area.

Police who are investigating the  case meanwhile detained four persons  and brought them to the scene of the crime.

It is  learnt, they admitted that they killed him for monetary gains. On the other hand police who initially presumed that the dead man was Ramesh Poojary from Mumbai, found their assumption wrong as the four said he was not Ramesh who incidentally was reported missing from Dharmasthala sicne December 2014.In another shocking revelation the four also revealed that they had killed Ramesh but did not know where his mortal remains were.

It is learnt of the four, Mallesh has been arrested and produced before the court while the other three are also likely to be arrested.

The second person who was found hanging from a tree is aged around 60-65 years and the suspicion is that he  had died a few months ago. It is not yet sure if this was a case of murder or suicide.

SP Dr Sharanappa stated that the samples of the two bodies have been sent for DNA test. Investigations are underway.
