Mangaluru, Jan 01, 2024: Amith Singh took charge as the new DIG of Western Range on January 1, Monday.

The erstwhile DIG Chandragupta has been transferred to Bengaluru.  Dakshina Kannada SP  Rishyanth, Udupi SP Dr Arun Kumar and others were present while the new DIG took charge.

The new DIG said unlawful activities including drug peddling and communalism will not be tolerated. The Department will also keep a strict vigil against cybercrimes, he said.
