Mangaluru Aug 18, 2016: BJP National President Amit Shah will visit Mangaluru to attend various programmes as part of BJP’s nationwide “Tiranga Yatra” campaign on August 21st, informed MP Nalin Kumar Kateel.
Addressing to the press at BJP Office today August 18 Thursday he said that, as per the direction of PM Narendra Modi, DK BJP is observing Tiranga Yatra to mark 70th Independence Day. Amit Shah will be arriving to Mangaluru and inaugurate Bike rally at Pumpwell, from then he proceeds to Ullal where he will garland the statue of Rani Abbakka and pay homage for the sacrifice.
Later Amit Shah will address the programme in Konaje. State President BS Yediyurappa and Union Minister DV Sadananda Gowda are expected to participate in the programme, he said.
District BJP President Sanjeev Matandoor, Secreraty Brijesh, Sudarshan, Chandrahaas Ullal and others were present.
