Ambulance driver lodges complaint after shopkeeper refuses to sell water bottle

Mangaluru, June 10, 2020:    A complaint has been lodged at Bunder police station against a  shopkeeper at Falnir for not only denying to  sell a water bottle to an ambulance driver but also offending him.

Abhilash, an ambulance driver from Sullia had come to Mangaluru to admit a patient to a hospital here.  During the wee hours,  the driver who was thirsty found a shop at Falnir open and  handed over cash to the shopkeeper asking him to give a water bottle. But the shopkeeper on coming to know that he was an ambulance driver refused to sell the water bottle but also reportedly offended Abhilash by stating that  they do not give water bottles to ambulance drivers as they spread Coronavirus.

Abhilash who was pained by the incident lodged a complaint with the police.
