Alva’s Student to represent in the World University Games to be held in South Korea

Mangaluru, June 9, 2015: The Mangalore University is basking in double dose of glory, as a student from Alva’s college Priyanka Kalgi S will be representing Mangalore University in the World University games which will be organized by International University Sports federation.

Priyanka, hailing from Gadag is the only candidate from Karnataka to attend the games which will be held at Gwangju city in South Korea from July 3 to 14. She will take part in 100 metre sprint.

Priyanka has achieved major accomplishments in the field of sports. At the All India Inter-University Athletics Championship in Moodbidri last year, she bagged Gold medal in 100 metre and Silver in 200 metre race.
