All College Students’ Union supports Feb 13 Karnataka bundh

Mangaluru, Feb 11, 2020:   The Dakshina Kannada district unit of the All College Students’ Union has  supported the February 13 Karnataka bundh call given by  Karnataka Sanghatanegala Vokkoota, a collective of several pro-Kannada organisations  to  pressurise the government to fulfil several demands including implementation of the Sarojini Mahishi Report that recommends job reservations for Kannadigas in the state in both the private and government sectors.

Speaking to reporters, Tushar Kadri, President of the Union said  the several companies which have been established in the district  have failed to fulfil their assurance of providing jobs for locals.

 Students’ Union leaders Vikesh  Bangera, Bathish Alakemajalu and others were present.

Job reservation, first get rid of non-kannadigas from the jobs and ensure that the kannadigas work truthfully earnestly and honestly.
