Akhil Bharat Beary Parishad organizes seminar on Ramzan

Mangalore, July 30: The Akhil Bharat Beary Parishad organized a seminar on Zakath and Ramzan in the tax office of Mangalore today. 

Speaking on the occasion, M. B. Puranik, the president of the state Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP), said that the VHP is not anti Muslim, but vested interests have introduced into society the idea that VHP is anti Muslim. Stating that it is impossible for Muslims, Christians, and Hindus to live separately within India, he spoke of the need for better understanding among the three communities.

Shiekhum Mohammed Irfani Faizi provided valuable information regarding Zakhath and Ramzaan. Stating that Zakath is not an indicator of the generosity of the rich, but is actually the right of the poor. Speaking about Ramzan, he said that it helps Muslims understand the difficulties of those who suffer from shortage of food. It also teaches them to control their senses. 

Abdul Maseed Sooralpadi, the president of the Akhil Bharatha Beary Parishad presided over the event. B. Abbas Hasan Haji, Vardhaman Durgaprasad Shetty, and State Beary Sahithya Academy President M. B. Abdurrahman were the chief guests of the event. 

The introductory address was delivered by B. A. Mohammed Haneef, the secretary of the Akhil Bharat Beary Parishad. The function was conducted by Abdul Azeez Baikampady.
