Mangalore, May 11, 2014 : Air Asia which has recently received the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) permission to start operations, is likely to operate flights between Mangalore and other cities of South India.
It is a fact that people travelling from Mangalore to Chennai have to opt for a flight to Bangalore and from there to Chennai in the absence of a direct flight between the two cities.
In the event Air Asia introduces its operations on the route, then it will be a great boon to frequent travellers.
Air Asia is a joint venture of AirAsia Berhad, Malaysia, Tata Group and Telestra Tradeplace.
