Mangaluru, Feb 23, 2018: The DK District Committee of the Popular Front of India (PFI) staged a protest in front of the DC office here on February 23, Friday to condemn the  Jarkhand Government  for banning the organisation in the state.

The protestors who raised slogans against the Union  and Jarkhand governments said the PFI was not an anti-national organisation. There is no proof  as such, the protestors said and alleged that the Jarkhand government has initiated such an action at the behest of the Centre. The organisation has also threatened to wage a legal battle against the ban.


PFI leaders Yasir Hasan, Athavulla Jokatte,  Abdul Khader, Dalit leader Rakesh,  District Imams Council President Rafiq Darimi and others  took part in the protest.
