ATM delays dispensing cash, man cheated in Malpe

Mangaluru, July 2,2016: A report indicates that a man lost about Rs 10,000 after withdrawing money from an ATM in Malpe.Megharaj went to an ATM to withdraw cash. First he withdrew Rs 10,000 and second time wanted to withdraw another Rs 10,000. However, the ATM failed to dispense cash the second time. He waited for some time and walked away with only the receipt.

atm However, next day when he went to the bank, he was in for a shock to see that Rs 10,000 was withdrawn from his account even on his second try, which he failed to collect. On checking the CCTV footage at the ATM, he saw a person who came to withdraw money after him,

saw that the money had been lying there and on seeing that no one was around, took the money and and walked away coolly. The authorities are making an effort to find the man.
