Mangalore, October 30, 2011: Raghavendra Tirtha Swamiji , disowned disciple of Shrimad Sudeendra Teertha Swamiji was house arrested by the Andhra Pradesh police at Indiranagar, Kadapa, Andra Pradesh, yesterday at 7 p.m. on October 29, Saturday.

Reportedly, the accused was performing black magic rituals in a flat at Indiranagar. The neighbors had complained to the police, on the basis of which a police team arrived on the spot and arrested the swamy. They also seized ancient 20 idols and Rs 8.48 lakh cash from the arrested. 


The accused is also wanted by the Kerala Police in connection with certain cases.
