ANF intensifies combing after suspected Naxal spotted

Sullia, Mar 28, 2024: The Anti-Naxal Force has intensified  search operations in Koojimale estate area on the borders of Dakshina Kannada and Kodagu districts in the backdrop of suspicion that a woman  who was found roaming in the area on Wednesday was a Naxalite.

Staff of a rubber estate saw a stranger woman loitering in the area on Wednesday afternoon and informed the officials. Soon after ANF personnel arrived at the spot and conducted combing operation.

It is learnt the woman had moved towards the forest.
