AICC General Secretary Venugopal visits soldier in hospital

Mangaluru, Nov 06, 2017: AICC General Secretary and in-charge of Karnataka affairs K C Venugopal visited a private hospital in Mangaluru where a soldier from Mudipu, Santosh Kumar is undergoing treatment at the ICU after he was bitten by a poisonous snake.
Speaking to reporters on the occasion, Venugopal said the Congress government in the state was ready to extend aid towards the treatment of the soldier.
State Minister U T Khader, Mayor Kavitha Sanil, MLC Ivan D’Souza and others were present on the occasion.
Soldier Santosh was bitten by a snake when he had come home town on a vacation.
