ADGP in city to take stock of law and order situation

Mangaluru, July 12,2017 : Additional Director General of Police Alok Mohan  and Alok MohanIntelligence ADGP Amrit Pal who arrived in the city on July 12, Tuesday    held a meeting with  senior police  officials  including Western  Range IGP Harishekharan, City Police Commissioner T R Suresh, SP Sudheer Kumar Reddy, DCPs Hanumantharaya and Shantharaju  to discuss the law and order situation in the district in the wake of the recent  incidents in Bantwal and other places.  ADGP Alok Mohan is likely to visit Bantwal today to take stock of the situation there.

Police have already  arrested four persons including Bajrangdal leader Santosh Attavar, Hindu Jagaran Vedike leader Sanjeeva, Prashanth and Sandeep in connection with the stone pelting incidents during Sharath Madivala’s funeral procession.

Most of the incidents have political background but by arresting the Hindus the police are provoking . Why is it made public . Now by hearing these the Hindus will blame the department that they are supporting the othe community .

We have to Thank the police department for taking a lot of trouble in managing to bring down the communal riot sin the district from past few days
