Kota, September 11, 2016: "The hopes that Chief Minister Siddaramaiah would provide a good administration has proved false with him making a tacit understanding with the corrupt system. The Anti-Corruption Bureau has been constituted with the main objective of protecting the corrupt," alleged well-known social activist and head of the Samaja Parivartana Samudaya S R Hiremutt.
Speaking to reporters here on September 10, Saturday, he said the ACB has so far not hunted for the corrupt people even several months after its formation. The Chief Minister will have to pay a heavy price for betraying the faith reposed on him by the people, he added.
Referring to the Cauvery row, he said it was not suffice if the government merely shoulders the responsibility on the advocates of the state, instead it too should make some concerted efforts on its part.
Hiremutt further stated that the present NDA government as well as the erstwhile UPA government were one and the same as both governments were controlled by the capitalists and the rich.
He said there were plans to constitute a likeminded people’s forum to fight for changes in educational , social and political fields. He also made it clear that this proposed forum would not involve in politics directly.
