A Salute to Covid-19 warriors in Mangaluru

Mangaluru, April 22, 2020: A "Saluting the Warriors’’ programme aimed at honouring the Corona warriors- the doctors, medical staff and health workers involved in fighting the Corona pandemic, was held at the Wenlock Super Speciality Block premises on April 22, Wednesday.

All the Corona warriors were honoured on behalf of the District Administration at the ceremony held under the leadership of City Police Commissioner Dr. P S Harsha.

The Covid Warriors who had lined up in front of the hospital, by maintaining social distancing were offered a salute by 25 police vehicles.

Deputy Commissioner Sindhu B Rupesh, ZP CEO Selvamani, District Health Officer Dr Ramachandra Bairi, SP Laxmi Prasad, Wenlock Superintendent, Dr Sadashiva, MCC Commissioner Ajith Kumar Hegde Shanady and others were present.
