65-year-old goes missing at Mangaluru Junction

Udupi,Feb 11, 2017: A 65-year-old resident of Navi Mumbai is reported to have gone missing after getting off a train at the Mangaluru Junction Railway Station on Friday. According to Government Railway Police, Yellashwar Ramachandra Rao (65) and his wife were among a 32-member group on a pilgrimage.


missing They were on the Netravathi Express train bound for Mumbai. Mr. Rao’s wife woke up as the train moved out of the Mangaluru Junction Railway Station at around 11.30 p.m. and found that her husband was missing.

When she enquired with fellow commuters, she was told that Mr. Rao had got off at the railway station. She lodged a complaint with the Railway Police in Udupi.
