50 new Covid-19 cases in DK, 9 in Udupi

Mangaluru, Nov 17, 2020: Dakshina Kannada reported 50 fresh Covid-19 cases on Monday, taking the total number of cases in the district to 31,309.

The discharges continue to outnumber fresh cases in the district and on Monday, 71 recovered people had been discharged.

Dakshina Kannada recorded 1 more death, taking the tally of deaths in the district to 694.

As many as 29,871 people had recovered so far in the district. The district has 744 active cases undergoing treatment in home isolation and hospitals.

In Udupi

As many as 9 people were found infected with Covid-19 in Udupi, taking the total number of cases in the district to 22,360 as on Monday.

As many as 24 patients were discharged in the district on Monday, while there are 226 active cases.

The total number of Covid-19 deaths in Udupi stands at 187.
