4 of family die, 3 kids injured in gory mishap at Panemangalore

Bantwal, Feb 4, 2014: A gory mishap involving a KSRTC bus and an autorickshaw near the  Panemangalore bridge on NH 75, claimed the lives of four persons of a family  on February 3, Monday night.

 

 

 

 

 

Four of the deceased have been identified as Jagadish, his wife Supreetha, Bhasker and his wife Prema. All of them hailed from Mulibail in Barimar village.

The deceased Bhasker and Jagadish were siblings and sons of Lakshman Poojari. Three kids including Hritijna and Abhijna, children of Bhasker and Prema and Nishan, son of Jagadish and Supreetha  were seriously injured and rushed to the hospital. The condition of Nishan is  said to be critical.

  The KSRTC bus was on way to Mangalore from Bangalore when the mishap took place. The ill-fated family was returning to Barimar after attending a wedding at BC road when the mishap took place.

Bantwal Circle Inspector Rajashekhar Mistry and his personnel along with the locals helped in relief operations.
