4 dead, 2 critical in KSRTC bus-car collision at Shiradi Ghat

Puttur, March 10, 2019: Four persons including a six year old child were killed and two women sustained critical injuries in a head-on collision between a KSRTC bus and a car  at Shiradi Ghat in Sakleshpur police station limits on March 10, Sunday morning.

The KSRTC bus was heading towards Bengaluru from Dharmasthala. The car which was involved in the accident was a Swift Desire.

The impact of the collision was such that the lives of four people including a six-year-old child were lost on the spot. Two more women suffered serious injuries and are fighting their battle for life. Local residents put in great efforts to shift the injured to the hospital.

Police have visited the spot and investigation is being conducted.
