In the video the youth have narrated their  problem. " We had paid Rs 65,000 to Prasad Shetty, owner of Manikya Associates Placement Private Limited and had come to Kuwait on January 7. They had promised job in a company named Cambridge in Kuwait but gave job in another company where we are working for five months without pay rendering us helpless. Even food arrangements have been stopped and we are forced to beg," said a youth named Ganesh in the video.

They have also said that an appeal for help to the Indian Embassy has yielded no result and have urged MLA Vedavyas Kamath for help.

Responding to the appeal, MLA Kamath has assured all help and that he had already spoken to an acquaintance Raj Bhandari in Kuwait and has asked him to meet the  distressed youth. The youth have been asked to send photo copies of their passports through WhatsApp. He also assured all arrangements for the return of the youth with the help  of local MP Nalin Kumar Kateel.
