3 of family from Thokkottu die in tragic road mishap near Mysuru

Mangaluru, Nov 14, 2017: Three persons of a family from Ullal have lost their lives in a horrific road accident involving a mini bus and a lorry at Kelagatte near Mysuru on November 14, Tuesday morning. Fourteen others sustained injuries in the mishap.
The deceased are Hameed (45), his son Sheikh Hakeeb (11) and Mohammad Iqbal (43). Hameed family resided at a flat at Thokkottu.
A total of 14 persons including the family of Hameed were on a way to Ooty when tragedy struck. They had left Thokkottu at 11 pm on Monday. At around 4 am the bus collided against a goods lorry at Kelagatte on Hunasuru-Mysuru road. The bus was completely mangled due to the impact of the collision.
All the three died on the spot while the injured have been shifted to hospitals.
