3 Days TEQIP 1.3 Sponsored Student Employability Programme

Mangaluru, Sep 13, 2019: A three day student employability program on Innovations and Incubations: Ideation to Realization (IIIR-2019) was conducted at Mangalore Institute of Technology & Engineering (MITE), Moodabidri from 06th September 2019 to 08th September 2019.

The workshop is sponsored by TEQIP 1.3, Govt. of India and was organized by Department of Electronics and Communication.

The main objective was to provide the awareness and build entrepreneurial expertise through Innovations and Incubation: From Ideation to Realization to pursue dreams and to gain economic, technical and entrepreneurial expertise in the chosen field.

On the first day, entrepreneurs discussed about Innovative ideas, its Nurturing, Prototyping and product. Second day was all about insight into practical applications of IP such as patent drafting, patentability search, freedom to operate search, validity/invalidity search.

On the last day participants were given the information about financial assistance by State and Central Government and private Agencies. Idea presentation, project exhibition, and poster presentation from the participants were the main highlights of the workshop. More than 50 students from 13 different colleges have participated in the workshop. Dr. M S Nagananda from Department of ECE coordinated the program successfully.
