21-year-old youth arrested on charges of theft in Mangaluru

Mangaluru: September 29, 2015: A 21-year-old youth was arrested by the Pandeshwar Police near Central Railway Station on Monday in connection with the theft case.



The accused has been identified as Sikhandar Shah (21) from West Bengal.

On Monday September 28, when the Pandeshwar police were on Patrol, they grew suspicious over a youth on his unusual behavior near Railway Station.

When they questioned the youth and checked his back, the police found a laptop and mobile phones which were stolen from the electronic shop in Suratkal on September 11. The youth confessed that he was on his way to West Bengal to sell the stolen items.

The police recovered the Laptops, smart pro chargers,  mouse, Samsung Mobile and Battery, Sony Headphone worth Rs. 25000.
