20,000 LPG kits distributed under Ujwala scheme: MP Nalin

Bantwal, Feb 28, 2019: Dakshina Kannada MP Nalin Kumar Kateel has informed that a total of 20,000 beneficiaries in the district have been distributed cooking gas under the Ujwala Yojana.
Addressing a function held at Maani Gram Panchayat on February 27, Wednesday to distribute LPG kits and to lay foundation for road development, he said the Prime Minister Narendra Modi led government has chalked out various programmes aimed at poverty eradication. The defence forces by giving a befitting reply to the militants have ensured peace to the souls of the martyrs, he added.
Bantwal MLA Rajesh Naik Ulipadiguttu was the chief guest. Maani Gram Panchayat President Mamatha A Shetty presided over the function.
On this occasion, foundation was laid for the Soorikumeru-Karyadka concrete road. Title deeds and cheques were distributed to beneficiaries of various schemes.
