2 youth from Tumakuru feared drowned in Ullal

Mangaluru, June 28,2017 : Two youth of Tumakuru who were on a tour in the district along with their relatives,  have been feared drowned in the sea at Ullal Mogaveerapatna on June 28, Wednesday morning. The missing youth are Ayaz alias Chotu (19) and Sharooq(19) of Shira taluk in Tumakuru district.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

It is suspected that they were washed away by the huge tidal waves. The two youngsters  who had come to visit the Ullal Darga had ventured into the sea when the mishap took place. Two others who too were drowning were rescued by locals and hospitalised.

It is learnt the missing duo had arrived along with a team of ten relatives who had stepped into the water despite the rough weather conditions.
