2 killed in Tempo-Scooter collision near Murudeshwar

Bhatkal, Feb 13, 2019 : In a tragic incident, two people died while two children were seriously injured after scooter collided with a speedy tempo at Bailoor NH 66 near Murudeshwar in Bhatkal taluk on February 13, Wednesday evening.
The deceased are Mohammed Kaif Mukhtasar (19) and his sister Afreen (30)of Manki in Honnavar taluk.
According to sources,Mohammed Kaif, Afreen and her two children were on their way to Manki to meet their parents. A speeding tempo collided head-on with their scooter due to impact Kaif and Afreen breathed their last on the spot.The two children namely Azmath (7) and Ahmed (3) are said to be seriously injured and have been shifted to Manipal hospital for treatment.
A case has been registered in Murdeshwar police station.
