19 yr old student dies in tragic fall from 4th floor of apartment

Udupi, Oct 14,2014 : A 19 year old student of Manipal University met a tragic end after he fell from the fourth  floor of an apartment  at Manipal on October 14, Tuesday.

The deceased student is Vaibhav Singh who hailed from Uttar Pradesh. According to sources, his three friends were also present in the flat at Pearl Apartments when the incident took place. It is not yet clear if it was a case of accidental fall.

It has been gathered that local autorickshaw drivers refused to take a critically injured Vaibhav to the Hospital. Later, he was taken in an ambulance  to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Meanwhile, the apathy of the local police in  revealing details pertaining to the case has given rise to doubts. 

Though the exact cause of the death is yet to be ascertained, local residents  suspect drug abuse as a reason behind the incident.
