14 CFAL students make it to 2nd round of Olympiads

Mangaluru, Jan 17 2019:  Fourteen students of Centre for Advanced Learning (CFAL) have been selected to the second stage of Olympiads leading to the international level, CFAL Co-ordinator Severine Rosario and Vijay Moras revealed on Wednesday.

These students have proved that it is possible for students of Mangalore to be among the top one per cent of their country’s peers, they said.

Shreyas V. Pai has emerged as a topper in Karnataka in Biology Olympiad (NSEB) and Suraj Samaga had topped in Chemistry Olympiad (NSEC) in Karnataka.

Gautham Raj (Biology), Vishnu Bharadwaj (Biology), Shravan Singh (Physics), Samarth Bhat (Astronomy and Mathematics), Koustubh Rao (Astronomy and Mathematics), Anmol J. Shetty (Mathematics), Aditya Thomas (Mathematics), Sathwik Acharya (Mathematics), Rakshitha (Mathematics), Dhruhan Shah (Mathematics), Vishwas Adiga (Informatics) and Anish Hebbar are eligible to appear for the second stage of the examinations being held in February.
