10-Year-old dies after being hit by a speeding car in Udupi

Udupi, Mar 17, 2017 : A 10-year-old girl dies after being hit by a speeding car while she was walking along with her father at Kukkikatte in Udupi.

accident Kshama(10), daughter of Kirthi Kumar , studying in fourth standard is identified as the deceased.

Kirthi Kumar along with his wife , son and daughter was on their way to his sister’s house in Kukkikatte. As he parked his car and was walking along with his daughter towards the house, a sppeding car came to extreme left hit Kshama accidentally. She sustained serious head injuries was rushed to Manipal Hospital but was declared dead.

Case has been registered in Udupi police station.

A sad incident. Th RTO has to be strict in providing licenses as many have got the DL by bribing which increases risk of using vehicle on road.
