1 dead, 3 injured as Maruti Omni crashes against barricade at Adyar

Mangalore, Feb 14, 2014: A road mishap reported from Adyar on the NH 75 on February 13, Thursday has claimed the life of an elderly man. Three other sustained injuries in the mishap.
The accident occurred when the Maruti Omni van in which they were travelling crashed against a roadside barricade after the driver lost control over the vehicle.
The deceased is Venkatramana Bhat (75). He hailed from Puttur. Tragedy struck when Bhat was heading towards Mangalore from Puttur along with family members. The injured are Vinay, Balakrishna and Kalavathi.
Mangalore rural police have registered a case.
