Mangalore Today News Network

Mangaluru, Mar 17, 2017: As a result of  directions from the state government, Mangaluru City Corporation (MCC) has started new mobile application, ’Janahitha Mobile App’ to facilitate the citizens to register their complaints and problems residing in MCC area limits. The new application has already started functioning and general public can utilise the new facility.

Mobile City residents can also log on to MCC web site, www.mangalorecity.mrc.gov.in to register their issues.  Citizens can also register their problems on the online portal www.mrc.gov.in/janahita/LoadGrievanceForm.

A hotline 080-23108108 has also been started by the state government to register the complaints of the citizens and to inform the public on the status of their complaint filed before the state/local government. Whatsapp number 8277777728 is also available to register complains on civic issues. Twitter handle @dmakarnataka is also available for social media enthusiasts to register public complaints. However, the effectiveness will need to be monitored in due course to know the efficiency.
