Mangaluru, April 01, 2016: In a motivational presentation, to the Post Graduate Students of Biological Sciences at St Aloysius College in Loyola Centre for Research and Innovation, recently, MCC’s Environment Engineer, in the city Er. Madhu S. Manohar, gave an enlightening in depth talk. Explaining, step by step, the required roadmap to become an Entrepreneur.
He advised the students to take right steps with help of mentors and persons involved in the process of setting up various types of businesses in their domains of expertise such Food Science and Technology, Biotechnology and Biochemistry. This Environment Engineer said that there may be different types of industries such as Red, orange and green. One needs to develop the proper know how, enthusiasm and courage to take risks, to stand up in the Start up India and Make in India scene. Vision of each person needs to be actualized by taking the right steps in right time. He explained the role of various government and other regulatory/accreditation bodies which assist in the process of set up of a business whether it is home scale or micro, small and medium enterprises.
He emphasized the role of marketing strategy of the various products and processes. Er Manhoar, an expert in solid waste management exhorted ’let each one save nature and environment by taking small steps in household and institutional level’. Through a video he conveyed the change what you desire in society can be brought about by each individual by taking being a leader with determination, courage and in transparency.
Dr Donald D’ Souza, the former principal of St Aloysius Evening College, Dr . Melwyn D’ Cunha SJ, the coordinator of Food Science and Technology were present on this occasion of motivating students to become potential entrepreneurs in future in a planned and successful manner.
