 Mangalore, Mar 8, 2014 : A colourful star-studded event named ‘Rangda Parba’ will be held at Nehru Maidan in the city on March 9, Sunday at 6.30 pm  to mark the audio CD releasing of  the much awaited Tulu movie ‘Rang’  produced under the banner Kateeleshwari Combines.

 

 The songs of the upcoming movie ‘Rang’ will be presented by renowned singers on the occasion. Dance performances by New Ocean Kids Mangalore, would add further glitter to the event. A comedy programme by Bollywood comedy king Johny Lever,  a magical event by Kudroli Ganesh and a variety of events are lined up for the evening.

The audio CD will be released by Johny Lever in the presence of a host of dignitaries including  Ramanatha Rai, District Minister,  JR Lobo, Moidin Bava, MLAs,  Nalin Kumar Kateel, MP,  Sadananda Gowda, former CM, Krishna Palemar, former minister, Imtiyaz Sheikh, AJ Shetty, Manjunath Bhandari, Karunaker, Rohan Monteiro, Ganesh Rao and  Maladi Ajith Kumar Rai, entrepreneurs.

‘Rang’ has a total of  5 songs  set to tunes by the renowned Manikanth Kadri.  The songs are composed by Bhasker Nellitheertha and Shashiraj Rao Kavoor. This is the first  non-Hindi film in which Johny Lever has enacted a role. Suhan Prasad and Vishmaya Vinayak are the directors. Devadas Kumar Pandeshwar is the  Producer while Sukhpal Polali is the Executive Producer of the movie.
