Mangaluru Aug 26, 2016: MLA JR Lobo has said that the government will soon conduct “Mangalore Day Out’ drive in Bangalore in order to attract investors to Mangaluru.
Addressing media persons at the Congress office on August 26 Friday, he said many youngsters who do not find jobs in Mangaluru are migrating to other areas in search of jobs. There is a need to create more job opportunities for youths in Mangaluru, he added.
He also said that the government will soon come out with the concept of Mangalore Day Out in Bengaluru, a drive to attract investors to Mangaluru. Mangaluru is known for its culture, tradition and also as an educational hub which will be highlighted to the investors during this drive, he added.
In honour of Congress Leader Mohammed Badruddin who had passed away last year, a convention will be held on August 28 at Shanthi Nilaya. Mohammed Badruddin’s contribution will be remembered and Congress representatives will be felicitated during this convention, he informed.
DK Interim Congress President Ibrahim Kodijaal, Media Convenor TK Sudhir, Suresh Ballal and others were present.
