Mangaluru, Nov 7, 2016: Exceptional leadership abilities, compassion, commitment, and a unique focus on patients are some of the common skills demonstrated by six NYC Health + Hospitals nurses who this year received our health system’s Nursing Excellence Awards.
More than 160 nurses were nominated by their colleagues from among the 8,000 nurses in our health system who provide care for New Yorkers in hospitals, post-acute care centers, neighborhood health centers, nursing homes, and home care across the five boroughs.
“NYC Health + Hospitals is fortunate to have a wealth of amazing people among the thousands of nurses in our system who are devoted to providing outstanding care to our many patients,” said System Chief Nurse Executive Lauren Johnston.
