Top Lashkar Terrorist Abu Dujana seen in Kashmir Rally

Srinagar July 31, 2016 : At a protest rally in Kashmir today, Abu Dujana, a man said to be a top terrorist of Pakistani group Lashkar-e-Taiba, was spotted, sources said. People were seen rallying around him and shouting slogans.

 

The police, however, said they did not have confirmation of Abu Dujana’s presence.

The rally, one of the many held since the killing of Hizbul Mujahideen terrorist Burhan Wani on July 8, was held in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

It was attended by parents of many of the terrorists who had been killed by security forces. The father of Burhan Wani, however, gave the rally a miss, though he was reportedly expected to attend.

The reports on the presence of Dujana is crucial in view of Lashkar chief Hafiz Sayeed’s reported admission last week that that his men had fanned the violence in the Kashmir Valley, in which 47 people have died and more than 2,500 people had been injured.

Hafiz Sayeed even said the funeral procession of Burhan Wani was led by the ’Ameer’ of Lashkar-e-Taiba.

Pakistan, where the terror chief Sayeed has a free run, has lionized Wani, declaring him a martyr.

The instigation from across the border is particularly effective in South Kashmir, which has been the epicentre of terrorism in the recent past.

Since the death of Bhuran Wani, the area has seen huge demonstrations and clashes between protesters and security forces.
