New Delhi, Nov 19 2017 (DHNS): Buoyed by the response to the Nava Karnataka Nirmana Parivarthana Yatra, the BJP top brass has strictly instructed the party’s state unit president B S Yeddyurappa to take everybody along, without giving scope for any more internal feud among the leaders.

YEDYURAPPAThe BJP top leadership, which is constantly monitoring the Parivarthana Yatra rallies on a daily basis, is learnt to have told Yeddyurappa not to heed too much to any particular leader for any decision in the organisation and instead take everybody along.

Railway Minister Piyush Goyal and Union Human Resources Development Minister Prakash Javadekar, who have been made in-charge for Karnataka affairs of the party, are learnt to have given a positive feed back to the central leadership saying that if all internal problems are resolved, the party can return to power.

’Encouraging sign’

They have also said that every day 6,000 to 15,000 people are gathering at each rally, which is an encouraging sign, sources in the BJP said.

To prevent the repeat of any internal rumblings among its state leaders, the top brass has also told the state leaders to meet once in two weeks to make an assessment of the Parivarthana Yatra. The party top brass also instructed Goyal and Javadekar to attend the meetings and give their feedback to the Delhi leadership.

Since many state leaders had earlier complained to the high command about the style of functioning of Yeddyurappa stating that he was giving too much importance to the erstwhile Karnataka Janata Party leaders, the party central leadership instructed the state leaders that no more complaints should come to it in future.

"There were not much differences during the rallies. Whatever the disputes, the same have been resolved in party’s state core committee meeting, which is held once in two weeks", said a senior leader.

Since the party has decided to select the candidates for the upcoming Assembly polls purely based on internal survey reports, no body in the state unit has an upper hand in candidates’ selection, which is a bone of contention ahead of the elections, he said.
