On August 11, former MP CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan had called Jawaharlal Nehru a criminal for imposing Article 370 in Kashmir. The remark, made during the membership drive in Odisha, attracted sharp reactions from across the nation.

Reacting to Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s statement on Monday, Bhopal MP Pragya Singh Thakur said that ’whoever will hurt our motherland, anyone who tries to break our India surely is a criminal.’

’Modi-Shah supporters are patriots’

Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur also praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah for removing Section 370 and 35A. MP Pragya Singh Thakur said that those who are proud of PM Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah were "patriot".

While giving a statement on removal of Article 370 from Kashmir, the Bhopal MP said, "Patriots are celebrating the removal of Article 370 and those who are crying cannot be patriotic at all. Those who are happy with the removal of Sections 370 and 35A are proud of our country, those who are proud of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah are patriots."

’Sadhvi slams Digvijay’

Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur also slammed Digvijay Singh as he opposed the Modi government’s move to scrap Article 370 from Kashmir. Recently, Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur had defeated Digvijay Singh from Bhopal Parliamentary seat in 2019 Lok Sabha elections.

On Digvijay Singh, Sadhvi said, "I fought elections because people who work for religion and national interest should come together and this is the reason why the people of Bhopal have elected me but at the same time, people have absolutely rejected those who should not be here."
