Noida: One killed as under-construction sports complex collapses in Mayoor School

Noida, Aug 18, 2017 : One person has died, and more than 13 workers were injured after the roof of an under-construction sports complex in Mayoor School in Noida’s Sector 126 collapsed on Friday afternoon.
At least 24 men were working at the site in the afternoon when the roof came crashing down. The workers were concreting the roof when the mishap took place.

Police sources said the children have left the school by the time of the incident.
The injured workers were rushed to a nearby hospital in ambulances and PCR vans.
One worker reportedly died in the incident, while 13 others are said to have received multiple injuries and admitted to the hospital.
District Magistrate BN Singh has ordered magisterial inquiry into the matter.
