New leadership will be in place soon, says Ratan Tata

Mumbai, Oct 25, 2016: Interim Chairman of Tata group Ratan Tata on Tuesday said his appointment is for short-term and new leadership will be in place soon after his meeting with Tata Group CEOs.
Ratan Tata said he has assumed role of interim chairman for stability and continuity so that there is no vacuum.
He further said that leaders of group companies should focus on their businesses without being concerned about change in top leadership.
Today’s meeting was held after Cyrus Mistry was removed as Chairman of India’s largest conglomerate Tata Group and replaced by his predecessor Ratan Tata in the interim.
